How to unlock Giant Namakian

Giant (Namekian)
Giant Namekian

The next transformation I'll tell you how to unlock is the Giant form for the Namekian race.

To start off, you have to go to Guru's House via Time Miniature. Once there, talk to Nail and he requests your help. He'll need your help protecting the dragon balls from Frieza and his men, which are pretty simple.

You have to do all ten before you can unlock the Giant transformation. The first few are easy but it does get a bit harder. For the first mission you against Freiza and have to recover three dragon balls. Whether you just want to collect them or take everyone out first is up to you. Once that's done, it'll be a while when Nail calls for you again but when he does, it'll be against Debora and need to collect 4 this time. When he calls you again, your fighting Zarbon and need to get five dragon balls.

Now this is where it starts to get difficult, the next misson will be against the Ginyu Force and collecting 6 dragon balls. Now this does get hard because if Nail gets overpowered and KO'd, then they're all against you. The next part is you and Nail against Raditz and a bunch of Saibamen and collecting 6 dragon balls. While the Saibamen are easy, it's Raditz that's trouble here, as much as hard as it believes it sounds. The final mission will involve you against Nappa and Vegeta, and collecting all 7 dragon balls. This is the hardest one and if the two Saiyans aren't taken care of, they can overpower you if you aren't careful.

Now after the sixth mission, you start over from the first mission and continue. I should mention that if you fail these missions then you'll have to talk to Nail again and he'll join you in invading Frieza's ship and stealing the dragon balls from them, and it gets harder for every time you fail.

Now once you beat 10 of these missions, if your a Namekian, you'll need to talk to Piccolo and he says that he wants you to speak to the warriors of Namek to help you unlock your hidden power. He says that Dende can help you, and when you talk to him he says you need to fight Piccolo and Nail to unlock your power. Talk to Piccolo and the fight will commence.

After a while you'll unlock the power to go Giant, and once you beat the two Namekians the transformation is your to use.

DLC 1 First Impressions

I know I'm late but I just recently acquired the season pass and am now able to access the DLC. So for this post I'll go over the first DLC, along with the update, and give my opinions on it.

DLC 1 Contents

So let's go over the free update before we move on to the DLC, starting off with the mentors. Now you don't start off with all mentors automatically, you only get Cooler, Whis, and Android 16. To get the last two mentors, Bardock and Future Gohan, you have to collect the Tokitoki eggs in the Time Miniatures, I'll do a post on those another day.

The first Mentor we'll go over is Android 16. He can be located near the area where you do Parallel Quests. By training with him you'll unlock the moves Eye Beam, which fires lasers from your eyes as your moving, Rocket Tackle, which is an excellent move to get to a knocked backed opponent, Android Rush, which will perform a combo that varies depending on where you tilt the L stick, and Hell Flash, a gigantic Ki Blast that fires below the player and creates a column of fire. Android 16 would be the first mentor I recommend doing before moving on to others, since he's the most easiest to do.

Next mentor is Cooler, which can be found on the mountains where you'll find Frieza and the other generals. From him you'll learn the Feint Crash, which teleports you either in front or behind the enemy for a melee attack, Shadow Crusher, which stops any Ki blast and you charge and attack the opponent, Fake Blast, which blinds the opponent, and lastly Supernova Cooler, where you charge a gigantic sphere of Ki and hurl it towards your enemy. Cooler's attacks are mostly for setups, but can turn a battle if used well.

Next up is the mentor of the God of Destruction, Whis, he's located at the end of the bamboo forest. The skills you learn from him are Finishing Blow, which either allows you to circle behind the enemy or attack depending on how far you are from them, Prelude to Destruction, which can get the enemy in Guard Break, Strike of Revelation, which charges you to the opponent and attacks from behind, and Symphonic Destruction, which sweeps enemies multiple times. Whis is one of the harder mentors but the skills are worth it.

Second to last we have Bardock, who isn't that far from Whis. He'll teach you Tyrant Lancer, where you charge and fire a Ki blast at the opponent, Rebellion Spear, where you charge with an aura of Ki and can be controlled, Riot Javelin, where you hurl a Ki blast that is stronger when your health is low, and Brave Heat, a variation of Saiyan Spirt where you charge at the opponent and fire a gigantic Ki blast. Bardock has some powerful attacks and are definitely worth getting.

The last mentor is Future Gohan, located in the center of Conton City. He'll teach you Super Explosive Wave, which fires a Ki blast and can do a backflip if heading towards the opposite way, Sonic Rush, which charges towards the opponent and lands a knockback attack, Energy Dome, an evasive attack that can absorb Ki blasts and knock away opponents, and One-Handed Kamehameha mk.II, where you backflip and launch a Kamehameha with one hand and can be amplified by pressing it again. Future Gohan is my favorite mentor and it's all for his Ultimate Attack, but his other attacks are useful as well.

With the mentors out of the way, let's go on to the new variations of SSGSS Goku and Hit.

So what's new about them, they have brand new awakened skills, starting off with Goku's SSGSS Kaioken.

SSGSS Kaioken

With Kaioken Goku becomes more powerful, and it can even go further to Kaioken x10. There is however one downside to this skill. As many fans of Dragon Ball know, using Kaioken puts a massive strain on Goku, and it's even worse with SSGSS. When you go Kaioken, your health starts to gradually lower, and with x10, it goes down even faster. Now you won't die with this, but it does leave you vulnerable to those your opponent so use it wisely.

Next is Hut and his Pure Progress. Pure Progress can be used twice and it changes the stance of Hit, essentially having that stance be perfect for his new power. This variation of Hit also includes multiple Time Skip moves, which is what Hit is all about.

The last thing of the update is the new Frieza Invasion event.

Frieza Invasion

How this event works is that in the area with Frieza's Time Miniature, his ship will come and the Frieza Force will surround that area. As the Time Patroller, you must defeat the Frieza Force and earn resistance points, and when the it reaches a certain amount, Frieza will leave. Along with the top players earning special rewards, you also get the chance to earn various track suits like the one Gohan wore.

With the update gone through, let's move on to the actual DLC, starting with the new playable characters, Cabba and Frost.

Cabba

Starting off with Cabba, he's a Saiyan that is clearly built for offense. His attacks are fast paced and is fun to use most of the time.

Frost

Next up is Frost. I'll be honest, I'm not much of a fan of this character, doesn't mean he's not good. Frost's Ultimate can poison opponents, but it's hard to land sometimes.

The last thing added into the DLC was a new mentor, Hit. Hit will teach you his Time Skip moves, which are just fun to use. However, he's one of the hardest mentors in Xenoverse so be careful.

Well that's all of DLC 1. What did you guys think of it, are you a fan of it, are yo looking forward to the next DLC. See you guys on the next post.

How to unlock Golden

Golden (Frieza)

Golden Frieza

Part 2 of the 'How to unlock transformations' is here and I'll be explaining how to unlock the Golden transformation.

This is one of the longest transformations to unlock, to start you need to head to the time miniature of Frieza's ship. Before you can go in you need to talk to Appule, who'll ask you for a item in order to fix that ship. Once you give him the item you'll be able to go inside the ship. Once your in, speak to Frieza about joining the Frieza Force.

Of course joining isn't that easy, your going to have to defeat 6 enemies in under three minutes, no biggie. Once you defeat them Frieza admires you and allows you in the Frieza Force, but now your going to choose a captain. You either have to choose between Zarbon or Dedoria, doesn't matter who you choose they will lead to the same outcome. After you choose your captain, you have to wait until your called upon where you have to defeat the other captain. Once they're defeated your next task is to take down your captain and move up the ranks.

You want to talk to Ginyu next and fight him and the other 4 members to join the Ginyu force, where later on you defeat them and become Frieza's right hand man. He'll want you to help him to take down Cooler and once you do your halfway to unlocking the transformation.

Once your summoned again, Frieza will want to train with you, shocking I know. Basically all you have to do is keep doing training sessions with Frieza until he's capable of achieving his Golden form. Once he's reached there's one more step to do, overthrow him.

When you talk to Frieza again, you're going to go against him and fight him for the title for leaded of the Frieza Force. Once you beat him, you are leader of the Frieza Force and your done, if you chose a different race. If your from the Frieza race than there's still more to do. Talk to Frieza again and he wishes to teach you to go Golden as well, so that when he fights you to reclaim his title, it'll be more of a challenge.

You will have to fight him in his Golden Form, alongside Metal Cooler, and during the fight you'll be able to go Golden. Once the battle is over, Golden will be unlocked and you'll be able to transform at will now.
