DLC 2 Trailer Analysis

How's it going everyone, do I got some news for you. We recently got the launch trailer for DLC Pack 2 so let's take a look at it shall we.

So trailer starts off with saying that greatest tournament in history has begun, and shows off some new cut scenes for the new story chapter. But we can already see some differences, it's nothing major but we see Cabba fighting Piccolo, which never happened in the anime. We also see that it's a tag battle with Frost fighting someone else at the same time, again this wasn't in the anime as it was all one-on-one matches. But a major change is that we next see Hit, and he's powered by Towa's magic.

The next bits of it shows gameplay of the new stage, along with some new CGI cut scene of Goku preparing to go Kaioken. We also see some new attack names, Champa's new ultimate attack is God of Destruction's Mennace and Vados's new attack is Requim of Destruction. We get some new story cut scenes mixed in, like when Cabba goes Super Saiyan when Vegeta threatens his family. But the last scene shows Kaioken SSGSS Goku fighting Hit in a CGI style and with him doing a Super Kamehameha like in the anime.

Now this is all cool and all but the ending is where the hype is at. The Future Trunks Saga will be arriving as a DLC for Xenoverse 2 soon! That means that SS Rose Black Goku, Zamasu, and SSGSS Vegito will be arriving. And hopefully we get to see Fused Zamasu and SS Rage Trunks as well.

Overall this trailer brings the hype for DLC 2 which is tomorrow by the time this is up. I also liked the background music, hopefully that will be available in game as well. So what do you think, does this get you hype for DLC 2 as well, let me know and I'll see you in the next blog post.

How to Unlock Pure Majin

The next transformation I'll show how to unlock is Pure Majin for the Majin race.

You'll need to go to Buu's House via Time Miniature. When you go inside and talk to Majin Buu, he says that he's lonely and wants a family. How can he get a family, by eating enough to make a Majin kid of course.

When you talk to Buu after that, there'll be a bar on the top right of the screen. This bar shows how much food Buu needs to make a kid. You can find food throughout Conton City, either on the ground or from people with orange question marks over their heads.

Now the number of kids to get this transformation is still under debate, but try to get three kids to be safe. After that your Majin character needs to be level 35 before you can take on the quest.

Buu senses a power in you that he once had a long time ago, and you want that power. He helps you for getting him a family, but he says your heart might disappear, nothing to worry about though.

You then have to fight him alongside Goten and Trunks, and just like the other transformations, just have to fight Buu until you are able to transform. After that you just have to beat him, but it's not over yet.

When you beat him the first time, you need to fight him again, but he also splits into three smaller Majin Buu. Because of this, and how much the transformation drains, this is one of the hardest to unlock. You just need to beat them all and the quest is over and you gain the transformation.

So that's it, did this help at all, let me know in the comments, thank you and see you in the next post.

DLC 2 News!

Again I'm late for this information but it must be said, we have new details on the second DLC pack for Xenoverse 2, so let's analyze this shall we.

Promo image

Now if you remember this was the image that was shown at the end of the trailer for the first DLC pack. Well recent news has shown that only Champa and Vados will be available in DLC 2, and the other characters will be in future DLC packs.

But even so DLC 2 has much to offer, with Bandai teasing us with two trailers showing gameplay of Vados and Champa.

Let's start off with the trailer for Champa. Now at first I had no idea how he would play since we barely seen him fight in the anime, and when he does they're not even serious. However, Champa isn't the God of Destruction in Universe 6 for nothing, he's a force to be reckoned with. He doesn't give Goku a break and lands hit after hit on him. We see him do super moves like Angry Shout along with a new ultimate attack that he can control. I'm looking forward to see how he'll be when he comes out.

The next trailer is for Vados, and she's just as powerful as her brother, Whis. She uses her staff to attack and can even attack when the enemy is far away. We also see her use green energy spheres that can work differently, either big and slow or multiple small and fast ones. We also see a new ultimate attack, where she surrounds the enemy with green energy before making it explode. She's definitely going to be fun to use.

But DLC 2 doesn't end there, there's more. We also get a new story chapter that involves the Universe 6 tournament, with Piccolo vs Frost.

Piccolo vs Frost.

Along with this, we get the arena as a new stage which is just awesome. We also have a scan showing what else will be in DLC 2, along with another free update, so let's have a look.

DLC 2 scan

So thanks to the generous fans we were able to translate the information on this scan and here's what we got. Along with the contents mention above, this DLC will come with 8 new attacks, 3 new costumes, and a Saiyan Space Pod as a new vehicle. The free update will include 5 new costumes, 3 new accessories, and 5 new attacks, along with new background music tracks so that's good.

Now there is no specific release date on DLC 2 but it will come out some time in February, as for the price, same as the first pack, $9.99 USD or free if you already got the season pass.

So are you excited for DLC 2, what part of it do you like the most. I'll see everyone in the next post.
